Award of contract for provision of onshore drilling rigs and drilling services in Indonesia

On 18 February 2009, the wholly-owned subsidiary, KST Drilling Technologies Sdn. Bhd. signed an agreement with a local company in Indonesia for the supply of the onshore drilling rigs and drilling services for the drilling programme by PT Pertamina Drilling Services Indonesia.

Extension of Representative Agreement with Tesco Corporation

KSTB and Tesco Corporation ("TESCO") have signed a new Representative Agreement for the extension of the appointment of KSTB as exclusive representative for TESCO in Malaysia for a futher period of 2 years.

KSTB is an exclusive representative for TESCO for the sale and provision of the following equipment and related services in Malaysia :-

1.    Top Drive Drilling System Services;

2.    At Rig Floor Snubbing Services;

3.    Tubing Running and Handling Services;

4.    MCLRS^TM (Multiple Control Line Running System^TM) Services;

5.    Casing Running/Reaming Services; and

Extension of contract awarded by PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd.

KSTB has been awarded an extension of contract by PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd. ("PETRONAS Carigali") for further period of two (2) years effective from 28 February 2011 until 27 February 2013, for the provision of tubular handling equipment and services for PETRONAS Carigali drilling and workover programs.
